Specialist Internship in Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia

We are looking for an Anaesthesia Intern to join our existing team, where you will work under the direct supervision of 3 ECVAA Diplomates, 2 Residency trained Anaesthesia Clinicians, and 4 ECVAA Residents. 

The ideal candidate should have 1 – 2 years’ experience in small animal practice or have completed a rotating small animal internship. The post would be particularly suitable for those wishing to pursue an Anaesthesia Residency. You will be involved in a wide variety of challenging cases, participate in weekly teaching rounds and gain experience in the teaching and training of junior staff working in anaesthesia. Candidates must be members of the RCVS, have good English language skills, be highly motivated, work well within a team and have enthusiasm for anaesthesia.

This position provides a salary of £32,000 per annum, holiday allowance of 6.6 weeks including Public Holidays, a 52 week contract. The internship will be for a period of 12 months, commencing August 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.
