Stephen qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1991 and has worked for many years in mixed and small animal practice. He gained his RCVS Cardiology Certificate in 1997 and is currently working towards the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology. Stephen is one of the Partners at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists.
Stephen is a full time veterinary cardiologist. He has been taking local referrals for over twelve years and offers considerable experience in cardio-respiratory medicine and surgery.
Jo qualified from University of Bristol in 2000 and joined the referral team as a Cardiology Resident in March 2007. In 2008 Jo gained her RCVS Certificate in Cardiology (with VCS prize for highest examination marks).
Jo now works as a full time cardiologist covering SCVS and clinics in Exeter and Gloucestershire. She will be going on maternity leave at the end of August.
RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology
Mark obtained his RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology in 1991 and a PhD for his work in equine cardiology in 1993. Since then, he has worked in referral practice and he works with Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists as a consultant.In addition, he teaches and lectures all over the world and has written several books & articles.
