Thank you for your interest in our practice. We provide second and third opinion services for veterinary practices across southern England, the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands in much the same way that a consultant would for a general practitioner (GP) in the field of human medicine. Similarly, we only see patients who have been referred to us by a veterinary surgeon.
We work in tandem with our clients’ normal veterinary surgeons to provide the best possible treatment for cases which require specialist knowledge, experience or equipment that may be unavailable to the general practitioner.
At SCVS we have three main priorities: preserving and , where possible, improving animal health and welfare; offering the best possible all-round service for the clients who entrust their animals to us; and providing a helpful and reliable addition to the diagnostic and/or treatment repertoire of those general practitioners who refer animals to us.
