Team - Physiotherapy

We have a full physiotherapy suite with laser treatment, water treadmill and numerous methods of manual manipulation. Our in-house physiotherapist does not take referrals, but spends all of her time dealing with our own patients pre- and post-surgery.

Donna Scott BEd Dip Animal Physio MIAAT CCRP

After many years in Practice as a Veterinary Nurse, Donna took time out from work to bring up her family and in 2005 joined the Canine Care Centre at Ringwood as a hydrotherapist. Following two years there, she took her Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy with the IAAT, and has since then worked for SCVS full-time as physiotherapist in the Animal Rehabilitation department. She is also studying for her CCPR (Certificate in Canine Physical Rehabilitation- University of Tennessee), and hopes to achieve this in 2009.

Elyse Spooner

Elyse Spooner RVN

Elyse qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1995 and since then has gained a wealth of experience in veterinary practice all over the country – for private and charity organisations. She joined SCVS in 2009 to assist Donna Scott in the physiotherapy department and is currently studying for her CCPR (Certificate in Canine Physical Rehabilitation- University of Tennessee).
