Client Payment Policy

As a policy we ask clients for payment at the time of treatment (usually when your pet is collected). We try hard to ensure that insurance claim forms are dealt with as quickly as possible to minimise delays in payment of compensation. We can sometimes request pre-authorisation for a direct claim if time is allowing and a relatively accurate estimate can be produced (before we have seen the pet, this is usually not possible).

we do aim to stay within the ranges given wherever possible.

Price lists are available on this website, but these must only be used as a rough guide. They are by no means accurate quotations, though we do aim to stay within the ranges given wherever possible. (Some procedures are fixed price, and these are guaranteed). Before seeing the pet and performing some diagnostic tests, and in some cases up until the time of treatment, it is impossible to tell exactly what is going to be required and therefore accurate estimates are difficult to produce ahead of time. Nonetheless we do try to give as accurate an estimate of costs as possible after the initial consultation and before any further treatment is undertaken.

We realise that referral practice treatment is expensive, so we do arrange direct claims with insurance companies whenever possible. We do not charge for this service, but do require all of the relevant insurance information -  including claims that your practice has made - before we agree to this.
