Maria Miguel-Garces

Maria graduated by the Catholic University of Valencia (Spain) in 2018. During this time, she had the opportunity to work for the imaging department in the university hospital where she developed a strong interest in this area. This interest in diagnostic imaging continued to grow during her visits at different busy first opinion practices and multidisciplinary referral centres. Shortly after she graduated, Maria moved to UK to pursue advanced qualification, where she worked in general practice for 2 years. Finally, moving forward with her wish to become a specialist, she applied for a rotating internship at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists which was followed by an imaging internship. Maria is now completing her residency in Veterinary Diagnostics here with us.
