Maisie Gerghty

RVN NCert Anaesth (HOD)

Maisie qualified as an RVN in 2015 and joined the nursing team at SCVS later that year as a rotating nurse. In 2016, Maisie joined the neurology department after developing a keen interest in neuroanaesthesia. She completed the ESVPS Certificate in Anaesthesia in 2019 and in 2020 became a Senior Anaesthesia Nurse. Since then, the team has expanded and Maisie was promoted to Head Anaesthesia Nurse in 2021. Maisie is in charge of the team of anaesthesia nurses and assists with the daily running of the practice.
