Camila graduated in 2009 from State University of Ceara, Brazil. After this, she studied for two years at State University of Londrina in a post-graduate program (training program) in Internal Medicine of Small Animals. Then, she attended for two years a Masters’ degree in neurology in dogs and cats in Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. She worked as a vet in different private practices in Brazil. In 2014, she moved to Portugal to pursue a veterinary PhD program and another master’s degree as well, both with emphasis in neurology. She worked as a vet in a private practice in Portugal and in a busy first opinion in the UK. Currently, she has been finishing her PhD, in which they have been investigating kinematics analysis in peripheral nerve study and after spinal cord injury in University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. She has been part of different researches. Camila is author and co-author of a couple of published papers in indexed scientific journals. Her ultimate goal as a vet is becoming a Specialist by the European College of Veterinary Neurology.
