Camila Cardoso Diogo

Camila graduated from State University of Ceara, Brazil in 2009. After this, she studied for two years at State University of Londrina in a post-graduate program (training program) in Internal Medicine of Small Animals. Then, she attended for two years a Masters’ degree in neurology in dogs and cats in Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. She worked as a vet in different private practices in Brazil. In 2014, she moved to Portugal to pursue a veterinary PhD program and another master’s degree, both in neurology. She has been part of different researches and is author and co-author of a many indexed papers. She also worked as a vet in first opinion in Brazil, Portugal and the UK. She performed her rotating internship at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialist in 2019, followed by the veterinary neurology internship. After that, she started her ECVN veterinary neurology residency. She is currently in her final year residency at SCVS.
