DipHE CVN RVN
Emma started her nursing career in 2007 at a mixed practice in Essex, qualifying as an RVN in 2009, making the journey from student VN to Head Nurse. After relocating to Salisbury in 2013, she worked as Head Nurse at a small animal practice before making the jump to referral practice in 2016. Upon joining SCVS, Emma spent a year as a rotating nurse, gaining knowledge and invaluable experience in each discipline, and ultimately developing upon a well established interest in inpatient care. She joined the wards nursing team in August 2017, gaining the opportunity to further develop her skills in the provision of care and rehabilitation of patients from all disciplines. Emma has a particular interest in caring for our more complex Medicine and Neurology patients, and enjoys the challenge and rewards of nursing high dependency patients back to health. She passed the first year of the Diploma of Higher Education in Clinical Veterinary Nursing with distinction, and is currently in the final year towards gaining this extra qualification.
