Robbie’s Incredible Comeback! 🌟

Meet Robbie... back in November, Robbie was rushed to our neurology department as an emergency after suddenly becoming tetraplegic. Our team diagnosed him with a hydrated nucleus pulposus extrusion causing severe spinal cord compression at C4-C5 intervertebral disc . Given his acute deterioration, urgent surgery was necessary to relieve the pressure on his spinal cord and prevent further neurological decline.

Post-surgery, Robbie was comfortable but unable to stand or walk. That’s when our amazing rehabilitation team stepped in! With intensive therapy—first as an inpatient and later through outpatient sessions—Robbie made slow but steady progress each week. Thanks to a tailored rehab plan, his love for food, and his incredibly dedicated owner, he took his first steps at 6 weeks post-op.

Fast forward to 13 weeks, and Robbie is now walking independently—full of energy and loving life! 🎉🐾
