May 2019 marks Veterinary Nursing Awareness month. The purpose of the month is to spread the word about the importance of their roles in the practice and the responsibility they have to care for our patients.
It was created by the British Veterinary Nursing Association, with their website stating their aim is “to promote animal health and welfare through the ongoing development of professional excellence in veterinary nursing”.
To celebrate it we spoke to three of our nursing staff about their job and how they got into them. We have incredibly caring, committed staff within our nursing team, who we are very proud of.
