Xantal graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2022 and moved to the UK to begin her veterinary career. She worked in general practice until September 2024, when she undertook a rotating internship at Blaise Veterinary Referral Hospital. In September 2025, she began a neurology-focused internship, where she developed a strong interest in clinical neurology and neurosurgery. She is particularly drawn to neurology for its problem-solving nature and the challenge of managing complex cases.
Outside of work, Xantal enjoys spending time hiking and running outdoors, and reading. She lives her adopted cat, Pigeon, who keeps her entertained and well supervised.
