Andrea Kashani-Carver graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013 via the graduate-entry programme. She began her veterinary career in equine practice before developing a strong interest in ophthalmology, leading her to complete both an internship and residency at a prominent veterinary ophthalmology referral centre. Andrea is a Specialist in Veterinary Ophthalmology with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS). She enjoys all aspects of ophthalmology, with a keen interest in cataract and glaucoma surgery, and is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each individual patient. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys CrossFit, hiking, and travelling in her camper van. Her home is shared with a lively collection of rescue animals, including dogs, cats, and a parrot.
