Cristina studied Veterinary Medicine at the Universitat Autonoma of Barcelona (UAB) where she graduated from in 2018. She completed a multidisciplinary rotating internship in a referral centre, Ars Veterinaria, in 2019. She then worked as an out of hours vet surgeon before moving to the UK in 2020 for a discipline specific surgical internship at Fitzpatrick Referrals.
After finishing the internship, she went back to working as a night vet in emergencies and out of hours while completing a postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery and a postgraduate certificate in endoscopy and endosurgery and attending multiple courses to continue developing her surgical skills.
In June 2024 she joined us as a surgical intern before starting her path towards gaining an ECVS Diploma as a surgical resident in June 2025.
Outside work, she enjoys to read, swim and going on a walk with her rescue dog in the New Forest.
