Andy's interview with CAM

Our Animal Physiotherapist Andy Gardiner was interviewed by Hannah Capon, the founder of Canine Arthritis Management (CAM). He spoke to her about how owners can manage their dog’s condition. You can watch their video below which first appeared as a Facebook Live video on CAM’s Facebook page.

Andy qualified as a chartered physiotherapist at the university of Brighton in 2003. Since then he has worked in a variety of both inpatient and outpatient settings and has specialised in the rehabilitation of patients with advanced cancer over the last 9 years. He is also interested in research and successfully completed a master's degree in clinical research at the University of Southampton in 2013. He completed a postgraduate diploma in veterinary physiotherapy at Hartpury College in June 2017.

CAM is committed to promoting better care of our ageing canine friends. They believe that through education the disease can be better tackled to give our dogs longer, healthier lives free from pain. CAM aims to challenge arthritis as the major cause of elective euthanasia in the UK. They also offer manual therapies, educational talks and much more.
