SCVS is a multidisciplinary veterinary referral hospital situated in the New Forest National Park, just outside Ringwood. We have a busy and varied caseload, providing the very highest standards of care to our small animal patients.
Job Summary: The successful applicant will support the diagnostic imaging team comprising one veterinary radiologist, two-board eligible radiologists, two diagnostic imaging residents and a veterinary radiographer. The team provides imaging services to the on-site specialists in internal medicine, neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, cardiology, oncology and dermatology. The primary role of the applicant will be to run and coordinate the busy X-ray service, ensuring high quality radiographs are obtained.
Key Roles:
Working hours are 40 hours per week, office hours, no on-call duties. Part-time also considered.
Salary: competitive salary.
Continued professional development is encouraged and funded.
Training: Applicants should be qualified diagnostic radiographers holding either a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, or other relevant degree / qualification. Prior experience in veterinary radiography is desirable, but not essential.
