Alice Machado

Alice graduated from the University of Lisbon in 2018, she went on to practice as a primary care vet in a busy hospital in Scotland for 18 months. Early in her career, Alice chose to pursue the specialty in veterinary cardiology and underwent a rotating internship at SCVS in 2019. She then became a junior clinical training scholar at Cambridge University for 9 months and then re-joined SCVS for a cardiology internship position, followed by an ECVIM-CA residency in cardiology. Alice has a special interest in feline cardiomyopathies, cardiac interventions, and in the diagnosis/management of chronic disease.
