Jeanette graduated from vet school, at the Free University of Berlin, Germany, in 2005. She moved to Scotland after to study bacterial skin diseases in dogs, at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, part of the University of Edinburgh. She was awarded her PhD in bacterial skin disease in 2009. Jeanette completed a rotating clinical internship at the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket in 2009-2010. She then moved to Switzerland for a three year dermatology residency program at the University of Bern, where she also worked as a clinician in her specialist discipline. Jeanette returned to the Animal Health Trust after as a Clinician in Dermatology and progressed to Head of Dermatology. Jeanette joined Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists as Dermatology Specialist Clinician in July 2020. She holds the European Diploma in Veterinary Dermatology and has European and RCVS Recognised Specialist status. Her interests are “all things related to skin” but in particular staphylococcal skin infections.
