Athina Karpozilou

Athina graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2018. Afterwards, she pursued a 3-month Erasmus+ traineeship in a multidisciplinary practice in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, and as soon as she returned to Greece, she managed independently the first veterinary practice in a Greek island, Sifnos. A year after, she moved to the UK where she completed a rotating internship at Eastcott Referrals before joining the team at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists as a neurology/neurosurgery intern. Athina started a three-year ECVN Neurology and Neurosurgery residency in August 2022. Athina has also a strong interest in neuropathic pain management and she is working towards acquiring a certificate in veterinary acupuncture.
