Tina started her career in 1996 at Aniwell Veterinary Clinic gaining her RVN qualification in 1999. She then moved to work at the PDSA, where she progressed to Head Nurse of their small animal hospital. In 2007 Tina joined Cedar Veterinary Group as a Night VN providing out of hours and emergency care, before transferring to SCVS in 2010 as a Night VN. In 2012 Tina made the move to working in the daytime as a dedicated wards nurse and later went on to combine this with working across the anaesthesia and surgical departments. In 2017 she chose to specialise solely within the surgical nursing team.
Tina enjoys emergency and critical care nursing, obtaining the Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care in 2015, and the ESVPS Certificate in Anaesthesia in 2017.
Having taken a keen interest in the Animal Nursing Assistants (ANA), Tina has undertaken the role of ANA manager, responsible for supporting them within the practice and assisting them in achieving their Veterinary Care Assistant qualification.
