Meet Zorro

Meet Zorro, this handsome boy who presented to our medicine team for fever and wobbly hind legs. He was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a previously incurable disease of the feline species that mainly affects the juvenile populations. 

Recently, a novel treatment with antiviral medication has emerged demonstrating promising results and Zorro is currently receiving this treatment with an incredible response. This little fighter is already jumping around, playing with his brother and shows a ravenous appetite with significant weight gain. 

We are really proud here in SCVS of this little guy and delighted with his progress. We are not sure if we can say the same about his brother! 

SCVS were the first clinic in the UK to use this treatment.
